My wife and I decided that it was time to purchase a home together. We decided on a VA Loan, found the company and got the process in motion. I was assigned a realtor at first but found that he was not eager to get the process moving. Everything was last minute and it was obvious to us that he was not prepared to show us our dream home, due to his other clients. My wife was receiving information from Cathy Sarmento via email that was very helpful in answering VA questions. My wife and I decided that it was time to fire our original realtor and find one that wanted to help us. We asked Cathy if she could meet our needs and was upfront from the beginning. She outlined all the things that she could do for us and for the few things that she couldn’t handle; she identified members of her team who specialized in those areas, such as certain far away locations that she did not deal with on a regular basis. She was upfront with us the entire time. The lines of communication remained open and if I had a complicated question, she answered the question or got an answer in short order. Coming out of the economic down turn, I was very fearful that I would have a realtor that was simply trying to sell another house at the best price possible. That was not Cathy’s way and she made it known right away. I expressed my fears and she explained to me, step by step, what was happening and why. She bent over backward to keep the process moving and ensure that everything was on the up and up. I would recommend Cathy to anyone looking for a home. She is knowledgeable, caring and very understanding. She takes the time before, during and after each showing to ensure that your experience with her was worth every minute. She found us our dream home and we are completely happy.
